Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
A hunter/jumper friend sent this to me a few weeks ago. I think it's pretty funny. I don't jump, but I do know what it means to SIT BACK OR DIE. The fetal position is just as "helpful" in dressage as it is over fences. I don't use ear bonnets, but if I did, I know what I would embroider on mine: LET GO OF THE INSIDE REIN.
What would your message be? 2/15/2017 05:35:29 am
I'll try and go back and give photo credit. Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to ask her where she got the embroidery done. 😊 2/15/2017 06:00:23 am
She had it made by If the Bonnet Fits, and they do custom embroidery for the ears.

I'd need waaay too many things written on those ears to fit! 2/20/2017 06:53:50 am
Aw ... love it!!! If I was still doing endurance, and if it was cool enough, I'd have had one that said KEEP GOING! :0)

My horse's ears are too tiny for normal messages. If he only had normal ears, I'd have a host of messages for him to carry to me. 2/20/2017 06:48:41 am
Speedy's are a bit short too! I loved the picture! I tried to comment form work, but our filter blocked me. I think only an American horse owner would find it funny. I did1 2/20/2017 06:55:00 am
I tried to find it and couldn't. Maybe she'll point me in the right direction. :0) 2/20/2017 06:51:01 am
I love it, Hillary, and I hope you don't mind that I shared your photo. I always give photo credit, but in this case, the photo came from a friend who probably found it on one of her h/j Pinterest boards. It's great though and every time I look at my horse's ears, I think, LET GO OF THE INSIDE REIN! 2/20/2017 06:51:55 am
We just need a bonnet for each day of the week, like underwear. LOL Comments are closed.
