Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
I love to be organized, and I love to organize. It just takes forgetting something one time to send my organizational brain into high gear. My show tub has been put together for quite some time so I thought I'd show you a way to keep most of your stuff together so it's always ready for show day. When I go to a show, all I have to do is get my horse stuff ready. My show pads are stored up on the bed to the left (not pictured), and my show bridle is in my closet at home in a bridle bag so it's pretty portable and ready to go. From the tack room I only need my saddle, girth, and braiding box. My trailer is stocked with its own grooming supplies, buckets, hay bags, and other stall accessories.
Keeping my trailer ready to go makes showing and clinics a lot less stressful. Now if only my ponies could bathe and braid themselves ... 4/5/2014 02:36:50 pm
Sadly, my OCD is very real. Fortunately, I can keep it at a level that still allows me to function as long as I indulge the need for "order" daily. Simple things like wiping my tack down daily and organizing my stuff helps me function in every day life. I am not exaggerating when I say my stuff is ORGANIZED. :0) Comments are closed.
