Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
(I know it's making the rounds on Facebook - I saw it over the weekend, but I still think it's funny!) Not even remotely dressage related, but funny! I guess if you try really hard, you can find some kind of dressage application. Now That's a Trot pointed out that baling twine was missing and added a third category: Should it Move a Little?. And in the truth, the fix it right now! tools are a triad: duct tape, WD-40, and baling twine. I can honestly say that all three of these have been used in the last week at my own barn. And another one ... Well thank goodness someone figured out that I DO work out! RM, our barn owner, spent the better part of her weekend spreading several large truckloads of dirt around her property. Shoveling is on the list, but where is extreme shoveling? There is very little regular shoveling around a barn! Post published edit: Thanks to Mary for the great video down below, "Who needs the Gym?" 11/9/2011 09:34:53 pm
I find this list very incomplete... What about walking, carrying a 50lb bag of grain? Or pushing a 300lb wheelbarrow of stuff? Trimming four hooves? Pacing back and forth while waiting for the shipper/vet/farrier? Impromptu dance parties while waiting for the same? (No? Is that just me?) Do all the contortions we pull while body clipping count as yoga? 11/10/2011 08:50:20 am
Now That's a Trot! - I completely agree. A friend shared a YouTube video that I just added. You should check it out - very cute! Comments are closed.
