Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
I wasn't going to post anything today as I really need to get my butt in gear. I need to be on the road to the Ventura area in a few hours, but I have a million errands to run before I can leave. Even so, I wanted to share tomorrow's ride times with you.
I am over-nighting at White Birch, which is a funny thing to do for a schooling show! In order to make the long drive worth it, I always catch a lesson with Chemaine the night before. So if you're interested, I'll be riding with Chemaine at around 4:45 in White Birch's covered arena (yah for lights!) this afternoon. Afterwards, I am getting together with Sarah (of Eventing in Color) for dinner. She is just the coolest person. She has such a peaceful way about her that I always feel as though I've taken a deep, relaxing breath when I've visited with her. Just the thing to do before making one's First Level debut! Speaking of which, I will be riding First Level Test 1 at 10:32 and Test 2 at 1:10. If you're in the Ventura area, come and hang out. The show is a pretty big one (for a schooling show). Rides start at 7:22 and go all the way until 5:22. There are over 75 rides; that's a long day for our judge! Have a great weekend, and I'll see you all on Monday!
