Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
Well, not this minute of course, but in a few hours Speedy and I will be loaded up and heading to the Ventura area (Somis/Moorpark) for a two-day USDF show at El Sueno. I love this facility and am looking forward to the show. We'll be back there in two weeks for the CDS Regional Adult Amateur Competition.
My primary goal is to get a solid ride on Speedy G with no 5s on my score sheet. We'll see how it goes. I also hope to get a final qualifying score for the El Sueno Championship show which is being held concurrently with the RAAC. I only need a 58% so I think I should do that pretty easily. I ride really early on Saturday morning but late afternoon on Sunday. That means I "get" a lot of time in between to sit and watch other riders go. Watching helped me improve my own riding at the March HDEC show, so I hope it proves helpful here, too. Have a great weekend, and I'll see you all on Monday!

Thank you all so much for the encouragement. We had a SUPER show and scored really well. I only had one "5" for the four tests and that was followed by an "8." :0) Comments are closed.
