Show report is coming. I swear. There was just too much to process this early in the morning. For now, here is August's expense report, and it's a biggie!

Hey, Lori! Thanks for stopping by. I was JUST getting ready to send you a plea for photos from this weekend. I think leaving a disc with Jaime (AKA the World's Greatest Farrier here on my blog) would work just fine. But since he doesn't come out to my place for a week or so, would you mind emailing a couple of photos just so I can use them in my blog for tomorrow?

oh wow, again, i have to show my husband: ) school started for teachers on the 20th (Mon), for the kids of our state on the 22nd (Wed). unbelievably, my husband has to work on the highschool musical again this year, so it's long days, then long nights planning lessons. he's also filling in an extra class for an ill teacher. i wonder how it is for you. i had no idea how much overtime teachers have to work. *sigh* i work 40 hours a week, period, my evenings and weekends are for me. my husband just gets a break when he's asleep at night (i'm exaggerating just a bit.)

Hi, Lytha. I am glad you both made it home safely. I read your stuff every day even if I don't comment. School keeps me very busy, too. We started a few weeks ago. I do work long days, but I get lots of time off too (Christmas, Easter, and summer). I think it works out in the end. :0)
