If keeping Sydney in the conversation was all that it took, I'll take it and be happy, no further explanation needed. I think the proof will be in the pudding, or maybe the beet pulp mash as it were.
We'll see how he behaves when asked to work in the late afternoon. Those 4:30 p.m. rides tend to bring out his worst. I already told JL that he won't be going to tonight's lesson. Working on his demon is something that I'll need to do alone. Once I am certain he can consistently handle the shortened rein work, I'll bring him. So for tonight, Speedy is up.
