Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
I try not to complain too much. After all, I have a lot of control over my own life and the choices that I make are my own. With that, holy Toledo, Batman! How can one person "choose" so many things in one month?
Please raise your hand if you are bored out of your mind with nothing interesting going on in your life. Anyone? Didn't think so. That means I am in good company. Here's a list of the many, many things that are keeping me from relaxing and lounging around.
It's all in the choices we make. I am glad for these problems and wouldn't trade them for someone else's "easier" life. Even so, I am looking forward to a little peace and quiet over the three-day weekend.

i think i have to raise my hand. i am bored out of my mind because i don't have a horse to ride. and baasha doesn't like being groomed so spending time with him that way is for my benefit, not his. i have absolutely nothing on the horizon, something i always had back home with an endurance or cmo ride on the calendar to prepare for. i need to find a horse so bad!!! i cannot even get addicted to tv because they finally shut off analog and now there's just a message on the tv that says "switch to digital." i never watched tv before but now it's not an option! i've read all my books twice and don't have any ideas for new ones to read. i've already read the entire internet (hehe). my lawn is mowed, my house is clean....i guess it could be mowed shorter and the house could be cleaner. ok i'll do that then: ) must...find...horse.

Lytha - I think I would be lost without my ponies. I hope you can find an Arab soon. I know that's where your heart is. Keep looking and soon you'll be blogging about having too much to do and not enough time in which to do it!

Glad to hear Tobias is on the mend. You might want to check with your vet, I've had to do the bland diet for my dogs on multiple occasions. I've always used boiled hamburger and boiled rice. Way easier than boiling up chicken breasts.

Our vet said either chicken or hamburger. We did the hamburger since it's a lot easier to prepare. Definitely worth checking on if te chicken is too time consuming.

In the past, we always used hamburger as well. For whatever reason, Dr. Thurman recommended the chicken. In all honesty it is MUCH easier to cook than hamburger, albeit a bit more pricey. While the chicken is slightly frozen, I cube it up. It takes no more than 3 minutes to boil. The problem is that he is eating a lot of it so I am cooking it every other day or so. Hopefully we'll be on regular food only in a week of so. He looks healthier and happier each day! Comments are closed.
