Not-So-Speedy Dressage
From Endurance to Dressage
![]() SSG Cross Country Gloves I ride in the SSG "Cross Country" gloves. I love these gloves because A) they're cheap, B) they come in a lot of colors, C) they can be tossed in the washing machine, and D) they're cool enough for summer riding yet still warm enough for California's winter riding. I scored a great deal on gloves at Stateline Tack this month: $2.69 a pair if you buy 6 or more ($2.99 sale price). And to sweeten the deal, they're offering $2.99 shipping right now. Enter coupon code CPSHIP58 during checkout. I go through gloves fairly quickly so of course I ordered six pair, in six different colors! Total bill for six pair of gloves, $19.13. That's a pretty good deal!

:0) - Always love a good deal!
I used to go through cheap gloves like crazy, then slowly started buying slightly more expensive gloves and sure enough, they lasted longer. I worked my way up a few models. I'm currently really enjoying the SSG Technical gloves. No fancy colors (they look kinda like skeleton bones), but they are durable and wick away sweat. =) They are like $23.

I love the SSG brand for gloves. What I like about the cheap ones is that I can scrub buckets, horses' faces, and my own boots without guilt. With a more expensive pair, as lovely as they are, I would have to take them off to do many of my barn chores. I wouldn't mind having a nice pair though - the ones you gave a link for look really nice. :0) Comments are closed.
